TextFox/Missed-call text-back
// on missedCall()
Missed-call text-back for Android.
When you can't pick up, TextFox texts the caller for you, a few seconds after the call. They know you saw it, and you can call back when it suits you.
Early access on Google Play · Free · Android 8.0+
How it works.
- A call rings out, or you decline it
TextFox notices the missed call on your phone. Declined calls count too, so one tap on the red button is enough.
- The caller gets your text
Your message goes to the number that called, a few seconds later. Limit it to chosen callers if you like.
- You see it in the log
Every text-back is logged with its time, and marked Delivered ✓✓ when your carrier confirms it.

Decline the call, the text does the talking.
In a meeting. Can I call you after 15:00?
No need to touch the phone.
Driving, I'll call when I've parked.
Bedtime, swimming lessons, school pickup.
Busy with the kids, back to you soon!

Questions about missed-call text-back
Does it work when I decline a call?
Yes. Both calls that ring out and calls you decline trigger the text-back.
Can I limit it to certain callers?
Yes. An optional caller filter limits the text-back to the numbers you choose.
Which permissions does it need?
Phone state and call log access, to notice a missed call, and SMS, to send the text. Both are used only on your phone and are never uploaded.
How fast is the text sent?
Usually a few seconds after the call ends. Every send is logged and marked Delivered when your carrier confirms it.
